The flowering plant astragalus belongs to the family of legumes and is a native to China. Only a handful of the 2000 species have been used in traditional Chinese practice for thousands of years. Astragalus is derived from the root of a plant (Astragalus membranaceus) in the pea family. It is also known as milk vetch root and huang qi.

Solgar® Astragalus Root Extract is to be taken as 1-3 vegetable capsules a day, providing you with all the beneficial compounds of this potent botanical.

RECOMMENDED DOSE One (1) to three (3) vegetable capsules daily, preferably at mealtimes or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
