DESCRIPTION

The accessory that solves the one problem e-readers have, which is your hand.

A Strapsicle stretches around the top and bottom of the device so the band lies across the back. Slide your fingers under it and the weight sits in your palm instead of pinched between thumb and fingertips, which is the difference between reading for ten minutes and reading for an hour.

They are soft silicone, go on and come off in seconds, and can be rinsed under the tap. They do not interfere with a sleep cover.

Sold in sets of two, one strap for each hand or one each for two readers, in seven colours from quiet blush and sage through to neon.

This is the Large size, for the 6.8 inch and 7 inch Paperwhites, Colorsoft and Signature Edition. Strapsicle make separate sizes for the Kindle Basic, for older Kindles and 6 inch Kobos, and for the Kobo Libra, which we do not stock.

Ingredients

Soft, waterproof silicone. Two straps per pack.

Instructions

Stretch one strap around the top of the e-reader and one around the bottom so the bands sit across the back, or fit a single strap if you prefer. Slide your hand under the band and hold the device with a relaxed grip. Rinse under the tap and air dry when they need cleaning.

Key Benefits

- Takes the weight of the e-reader off your fingers and into your palm
- Soft silicone, no bulk added to the device
- Goes on and comes off in seconds, no adhesive
- Set of two, so both hands or two readers are covered
- Seven colours, from blush and sage to neon
- Rinses clean under the tap

Disclosure

Not a case, so it does not protect the screen from a drop. Check the size against your device before buying, since a strap sized for the wrong device will either not stretch or will sit loose. Keep away from small children, as the straps are stretchy and small enough to be a hazard. Silicone can pick up dye from dark fabric over time, and the pale colours show it most.

About Strapsicle

Instead of pinching the edges of your device and cramping up on a long read, you slide your hand under the strap and let it take the weight. It fits on and off in seconds, works alongside your existing sleep cover, and adds almost nothing in bulk. They come as a set of two, one for each hand or to share, in a range of colours, sized to fit most Kindle, Paperwhite and Kobo models.

We brought Strapsicle into Matakana Pharmacy because comfortable, one-handed reading matters more than people expect, whether you read in bed, have a weaker grip, or hold a device for long stretches. It's an inexpensive, genuinely useful accessory that makes an e-reader easier and more comfortable to hold, shipped across New Zealand.
