The Big Glow puts soluble keratin, bamboo silica and a citrus extract into an 850mg blend, then adds 150mg of vitamin C and 2,500mcg of biotin to the same two capsule serve.
Keratin is the protein hair and nails are actually made of, and Cynatine HNS is a soluble form of it, so this is a different angle from the collagen powders that fill most of the category. The bamboo extract is standardised to 70 percent silica, and the citrus extract is Red Orange Complex, standardised for anthocyanins and flavanones.
Alongside those sits Dermaval, a blend of pomegranate, asparagus, okra, coffee fruit, quercetin, acerola, camu camu, acai and mangosteen, plus an olive fruit extract standardised to 10 percent hydroxytyrosol.
The capsule itself is vegetarian, though the keratin comes from sheep wool, so it is not a vegan option.
