White thyme is the gentler distillation, redistilled to soften the phenols that make red thyme so aggressive. It still smells like thyme: hot, herbaceous and sharply green.
Thymus, steam distilled from the herb. It is a middle note with plenty of carrying power, and Dolphin Clinic use it in the Tinea Relief and Cellulite Toning formulations.
Two or three drops in a diffuser. Dilute it thoroughly for anything topical.
The restrictions are firm: not during pregnancy, and not for anyone with epilepsy or high blood pressure.
