Apply a facial oil, serum, cream or body oil to clean skin first so the stone glides rather than drags. Hold the Yin tool with an oil free hand, rest the smooth edge flat against the skin at a shallow angle, and glide it in slow strokes with gentle pressure. On the face and neck work outwards and upwards, from the centre of the face towards the ear and then down the side of the neck. The same tool can be used on the body, following the muscle in longer strokes.
Use it for a few minutes at a time and keep the pressure comfortable. SuperFeast recommends laying down a towel or blanket while you work, and not using the tool over tiles or other hard surfaces, because if dropped the stone behaves like ceramic or glass and will shatter.
SuperFeast does not publish a cleaning routine. Wipe the oil from the stone after each use, wash it with warm water and a mild cleanser if needed, then dry it thoroughly and store it somewhere soft and protected.
For external use only. Do not use over broken, irritated or sunburnt skin, open wounds, moles or recent injuries, and avoid firm pressure directly over bone. Stop if any irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, taking medication or under medical care, speak with a healthcare professional before use.
