The Toning Lotion goes on after cleansing to take off anything the wash left behind and settle the skin before serums. It leans on witch hazel and a low level of lactic acid, a gentle hydroxy acid that keeps surface texture even, with allantoin, sodium PCA and glycerin so the skin stays comfortable rather than tight.
The botanical side is the same South African set used across the range: rooibos, kigelia africana, pomegranate fruit extract and Kalahari melon seed oil.
It suits most skin types, including skin that finds stronger acid toners too much. Sweep it over face and neck on a cotton pad or gauze morning and night, and follow with a gel, serum or moisturiser. 160ml.
