DESCRIPTION

Ayurveda calls amla amrit, the divine nectar, and the Indian gooseberry earned that name honestly: it is one of the richest whole-food sources of vitamin C there is, carried alongside polyphenols from the same fruit.

Each capsule holds 500mg of pure organic amla fruit powder in a vegetable shell. Nothing else goes in, so what you take is fruit rather than an isolate with fruit on the label.

Up to four capsules a day with meals. BioGro certified organic, vegan and gluten free.

If you would rather use it the traditional way, the same fruit comes as a 250g loose powder that also goes into hair and skin preparations.

About Green Trading

Green Trading began on a market stall in Titirangi Village, run by a family who wanted the Ayurvedic staples they grew up with in India to be available here, made properly and certified.

The range is deliberately plain. Ashwagandha, amla, brahmi, shatavari, triphala and moringa come as either 500mg capsules or a 250g bag of powder, and the powders are exactly that: milled herb, no fillers, binders, colours or preservatives.
