DESCRIPTION

Diatomaceous earth is the fossilised remains of freshwater diatoms, accumulated over a very long time and ground to a fine, silica-rich powder.

Green Trading source food grade freshwater deposits with nothing added and nothing altered, certified to BioGro organic standards.

Around the house, garden and animals it is dusted lightly and evenly over the target area, and reapplied after rain or moisture, which is the traditional chemical-free approach to pests.

It is a very fine powder. Apply gently, keep it out of your eyes and do not breathe the dust.

About Green Trading

Green Trading began on a market stall in Titirangi Village, run by a family who wanted the Ayurvedic staples they grew up with in India to be available here, made properly and certified.

The range is deliberately plain. Ashwagandha, amla, brahmi, shatavari, triphala and moringa come as either 500mg capsules or a 250g bag of powder, and the powders are exactly that: milled herb, no fillers, binders, colours or preservatives.

Around the Ayurvedic core sit black seed oil, berberine, shilajit, the mushroom powders, spirulina, chlorella and wheatgrass, and organic castor and coconut oils. Most carry BioGro New Zealand organic certification, and everything is vegan, gluten free and not tested on animals.
