One fruit, two traditions. Amla is Ayurveda's classic daily rasayana, taken internally as a naturally vitamin C rich fruit powder, and it has anchored Indian hair and skin preparations for just as long, blended into masks and rinses.

Green Trading mill the fruit raw and leave it at that: one ingredient, no fillers.

A teaspoon or two after meals, stirred into water or a smoothie, or mixed into whatever you use on your hair. The taste is sharply sour, which is the fruit rather than the processing.

Ingredients

100% certified organic Amla (Indian gooseberry, Phyllanthus emblica) fruit powder. Naturally rich in vitamin C and antioxidants. No fillers, binders, artificial colours or preservatives. Free from common allergens and heavy metals. Vegan and gluten free. BioGro certified organic.

Instructions

As a dietary supplement, take one to two teaspoons after meals, mixed with water or a smoothie, or as directed by your health practitioner. About Green Trading

Green Trading began on a market stall in Titirangi Village, run by a family who wanted the Ayurvedic staples they grew up with in India to be available here, made properly and certified.

The range is deliberately plain. Ashwagandha, amla, brahmi, shatavari, triphala and moringa come as either 500mg capsules or a 250g bag of powder, and the powders are exactly that: milled herb, no fillers, binders, colours or preservatives.

Around the Ayurvedic core sit black seed oil, berberine, shilajit, the mushroom powders, spirulina, chlorella and wheatgrass, and organic castor and coconut oils. Most carry BioGro New Zealand organic certification, and everything is vegan, gluten free and not tested on animals.
