DESCRIPTION

One of Ayurveda's most used roots, sometimes called Indian ginseng, in a capsule that is nothing but the root.

Each capsule holds 500mg of pure organic ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) root powder in a vegetarian shell, with no fillers or binders. Green Trading encapsulate the whole root rather than an extract, which is how it has traditionally been taken.

One to two capsules twice a day with meals.

Ashwagandha is a member of the nightshade family, so give it a miss if nightshades do not agree with you, and it is not one for pregnancy.

BioGro certified organic, vegan and gluten free. The same root comes as a 250g powder if you would rather stir it into a warm drink.

Ingredients

Each capsule contains 500mg of 100% certified organic Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) root powder in a vegetarian capsule. No fillers, binders, artificial colours or preservatives. Free from common allergens and heavy metals. Vegan and gluten free. BioGro certified organic.

Instructions

Take one to two capsules twice a day with meals, or as suggested by your health practitioner. For sleep support, capsules can be taken 30 to 60 minutes before bed.

About Green Trading

Green Trading began on a market stall in Titirangi Village, run by a family who wanted the Ayurvedic staples they grew up with in India to be available here, made properly and certified.

The range is deliberately plain. Ashwagandha, amla, brahmi, shatavari, triphala and moringa come as either 500mg capsules or a 250g bag of powder, and the powders are exactly that: milled herb, no fillers, binders, colours or preservatives.

Around the Ayurvedic core sit black seed oil, berberine, shilajit, the mushroom powders, spirulina, chlorella and wheatgrass, and organic castor and coconut oils. Most carry BioGro New Zealand organic certification, and everything is vegan, gluten free and not tested on animals.
